When using the Dell Thunderbolt Dock – WD19TB with an Apple device, the dock will provide up to 90W of power delivery (when connected to a Dell device, it will provide up to 130W).
For Dell Thunderbolt Dock – WD19TB that were purchased before the date of this publication (September 20, 2020) the Firmware on the WD19TB will need to be updated.
For support issues pertaining to connecting the Dell Thunderbolt Dock – WD19TB to an Apple product, you must contact Apple Support. Should you contact Dell Technical Support, they will refer you to Apple for assistance.

Certification does NOT mean support.

  • Docking issues may be due to the Apple device. Customers should call Apple if they have a docking issues when using a certified dock with Apple USB-C hosts. Apple may require the device to carry an active AppleCare+ warranty / support or AppleCare+ Subscription.

Certification does not mean full compatibility

  • These are known functional limitations. Dell docks provide a better experience with Dell laptops.

* Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a known issue with screen flickering. It will be fixed by Apple in the new Catalina update 10.5.5
